No experience is necessary! Our kayaks are beginner-friendly and we provide a safety orientation and instructional video prior to launch. Most of our guests are first-time paddlers.
Each double kayak has a combined weight limit of 385 lbs. If your party includes two individuals who together exceed this limit, please notify us within 1 hour of booking so we can make alternate arrangements. Single kayaks are only provided in these cases or for odd-numbered groups (3, 5, etc.).
Yes — single kayaks may be assigned for safety (if the combined weight exceeds 385 lbs) or for odd-numbered parties.
Yes! Children ages 3 and up are welcome. We provide child-size cushions and life jackets. Children under 3 years old are not permitted.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed due to insurance and safety policies.
No. Life jackets are provided for all participants, and our kayaks are extremely stable and unlikely to tip.
Wear comfortable casual clothing — you do not need a bathing suit. In warmer months, water shoes or sandals are recommended. During cooler months, long sleeves, pants, and a light jacket are appropriate. You may want to bring a towel for minor paddle drips.
Most guests stay dry except for light splashes from the paddle. You can step directly into your kayak without getting your feet wet on most days.

Some launch sites may have restrooms, but we recommend using a restroom before arriving as availability and conditions are not guaranteed.
We recommend no food during rentals. Non-alcoholic drinks are okay in a secure bottle. Alcohol is not permitted.
We operate on a strict schedule and cannot delay start times. No refunds for late arrivals. Please text us ASAP if you’re delayed — we’ll try to help if possible.
We monitor the weather closely. If we must cancel due to weather, you’ll receive a text and can reschedule or get a full refund.
We send important updates via text, so make sure your phone number is correct at booking. Check messages the day of your rental.
