Launch from Longboat Key Little Beach and drift into the sheltered lagoon just off the sand as the sky turns gold. This is our calmest, most relaxing paddle — a slow nature tour timed to the sunset, with wildlife moving beneath your crystal-clear kayak.
There is a window each evening when the light goes soft and gold, the wind lays down, and the water turns to glass. We built this tour around it. You will launch from Longboat Key Little Beach, stay inside the calm lagoon right there, and paddle at an easy pace while the sun drops toward the Gulf.
We time every launch so you are on the water for the best light of the day — warm, low, and perfect for photos you will actually want to print.
Evening is feeding time in the lagoon. Manatees, dolphins, rays, and wading birds all come alive as the heat of the day fades.
We stay in the sheltered lagoon beside the beach. No open-water crossing, no bridge, no current to fight — just flat, easy water.

Water shoes or sandals, a light layer for after sunset, bug spray, a water bottle, and your phone in a dry bag — you will want photos of this one. A towel is smart for paddle drips.
Sunset moves throughout the year, so our launch time moves with it. We schedule each tour to put you on the water during golden hour with the sun going down while you paddle. Your exact time is confirmed by text when you book.
This is our easiest tour. Guests from ages 3 to 85 do it comfortably. We stay in the calm lagoon beside Little Beach, so there is no open-water crossing and no bridge. No kayaking experience is needed. Children under 3 and pets are not permitted.
