Sarasota’s Most Relaxing Sunset Paddle

Golden Hour on Longboat Key

There is a window each evening when the light goes soft and gold, the wind lays down, and the water turns to glass. We built this tour around it. You will launch from Longboat Key Little Beach, stay inside the calm lagoon right there, and paddle at an easy pace while the sun drops toward the Gulf.

Golden Hour Light

We time every launch so you are on the water for the best light of the day — warm, low, and perfect for photos you will actually want to print.

Wildlife at Dusk

Evening is feeding time in the lagoon. Manatees, dolphins, rays, and wading birds all come alive as the heat of the day fades.

Calm, Protected Water

We stay in the sheltered lagoon beside the beach. No open-water crossing, no bridge, no current to fight — just flat, easy water.

Ages 3 to 85

Our widest, most stable clear kayaks and the gentlest route we run. Grandparents and grandkids do this one together all the time.

See Straight Through

A transparent hull turns the shallow lagoon into a window. Watch fish and rays glide under your seat while the sky burns orange above.

Couples & Celebrations

Anniversaries, birthdays, first dates, proposals. If you want one unforgettable hour in Sarasota, this is the one people remember.

The best light of the day only lasts about an hour.
Come spend it on the water.

BOOK THE SUNSET TOUR

Sunset Kayaking on Longboat Key

Longboat Key sits between Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, which is exactly why the sunsets here are worth planning an evening around. Our launch point at Little Beach opens into a shallow, protected lagoon — the kind of water that goes completely still in the evening and mirrors the sky back at you.

Because we stay inside that lagoon, this is a genuinely easy, relaxing eco tour rather than a workout. There is no bridge to paddle under, no channel crossing, and no fighting current. That is what makes it work for a 3-year-old and an 85-year-old on the same tour, often in the same family.

The wildlife cooperates too. Evening is when the lagoon wakes up — manatees surface to breathe, dolphins push through the shallows chasing mullet, and rays glide right beneath the clear hulls. Looking for a longer, more active paddle instead? Our 2-hour mangrove tunnel tour covers more ground, and the LED night tour picks up after dark.
