Do I need kayaking experience?
No experience is necessary! Our kayaks are beginner-friendly and we provide a safety orientation and instructional video prior to launch. Most of our guests are first-time paddlers.
What is the weight limit for the kayaks?
Each double kayak has a combined weight limit of
385lbs. If your party includes two individuals who together exceed this limit, please notify us within
1 hour of booking so we can make alternate arrangements. Single kayaks are only provided in these cases or for odd-numbered groups (3, 5, etc.).
Can I request a single kayak?
Yes, and
single kayaks may be assigned for safety (if the combined weight of a double kayak exceeds 385lbs) or for odd-numbered parties.
Are children allowed?
Yes! Children ages
3 and up are welcome. We provide child-size cushions and life jackets for their safety. Children under
3 years old are not permitted.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately,
no pets are allowed due to insurance and safety policies.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. Life jackets are provided for all participants, and our kayaks are extremely stable and unlikely to tip.
What should I wear?
Wear
comfortable casual clothing. You do not need a bathing suit. In warmer months, water shoes or sandals are recommended. During cooler months, long sleeves, pants, and a light jacket are appropriate. You may want to bring a towel for minor paddle drips.
Will I get wet?
Most guests stay dry except for light splashes from the paddle. You can step directly into your kayak without getting your feet wet on most days.
What should I bring?
- Fully charged phone (for safety & photos)
- Towel (optional, for paddle drips)
- Plastic bag or dry pouch for your phone
- Water shoes (recommended)
Are there restrooms available?
Some launch sites may have restrooms, but we recommend using a restroom
before arriving as availability and conditions are not guaranteed.
Can I bring food or drinks?
We recommend
no food during rentals. Non-alcoholic drinks are okay to bring in a secure bottle.
Alcohol is not permitted.
What if I'm running late?
We operate on a strict schedule and cannot delay start times.
No refunds will be issued for late arrivals. Please
text us as early as possible if you’re delayed and we’ll try to help if we can.
What if there’s bad weather?
We monitor the weather closely. If we must cancel your rental due to weather, you’ll receive a
text notification and have the option to
reschedule or receive a refund.
How will I receive updates?
We communicate important rental updates via
text, so be sure your mobile number is correct at booking. Check your messages
on the day of your rental, especially in the afternoon.
Can I add more people to my reservation?
Yes, if space is available. Please text

Do you provide safety gear?
Yes, every rental includes life jackets, paddles, and all required safety gear.
What is the maximum group size?
We can accommodate groups of up to
20 people. For group bookings or discounts, please text us for assistance.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available on our website. Be sure to include the recipient’s name and phone number when purchasing.
Are tips required?
Tips are
not required, but are always appreciated by our team for excellent service.
